Sylvie ISINGIZWE
CEO, AESG Rwanda
Sylvie Isingizwe is a mechanical engineer and Deputy CEO at Africa Energy Services Group Ltd. She holds a Master’s degree in renewable energy from the African Centre of Excellence in Energy and Sustainable Development.
With a rich background spanning national and international organizations, including government bodies such as the Rwanda Green Fund (FONERWA), Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry of Environment, and Rwanda Energy Group, Sylvie has also collaborated with civil society organizations like UNECA, GIZ, Enabel, Gogla, Carbon Trust, and the European Union-Africa Union project on Long Term Partnership in Renewable Energy. She has also worked closely with financial institutions including the World Bank, African Development Bank, Development Bank of Rwanda, and Energy Private Developers.
Sylvie has played a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and expanding the company’s footprint within the energy sector. She actively contributes to Rwanda’s energy landscape by championing sustainable energy solutions. Additionally, Sylvie is dedicated to promoting women’s leadership in the energy sector, as evidenced by her co-founding of POWERHer and her position on the board of Energy Private Developers (EPD).
