AESG conducted research on the fiscal environment for incentivizing local assembly and manufacturing options for off-grid appliances in Rwanda. The study focused on import taxes, duties, and supply chain resilience, aiming to provide insights into local assembly/manufacturing vs. import scenarios. Deliverables included policy papers, economic impact analyses, and guidance for manufacturers.
