Kibibi Ndope is an Advocate to the High Court of Kenya, a Notary Public, and Commissioner of Oaths. She holds an LLB and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, as well as an MBA in International Business from the United States International University. With extensive knowledge in the Energy and Infrastructure field, Kibibi specializes in advising on the best policy and institutional practices for energy projects. She brings to the table considerable experience in project management, risk analysis, legislative and regulatory review, project finance, corporate and property law.

Kibibi has provided expert advice on investment plans and offered public sector support, conducting regulatory reviews, and preparing various Energy Law contracts, particularly in the power sector. Her expertise includes drafting Power Purchase Agreements, EPC Contracts, Operation & Maintenance Contracts, Project Agreements, IPP contracts, Indemnity Agreements, Reimbursement & Credit Agreements, Letters of Support, and Lenders Agreements. She possesses an in-depth understanding of the statutes surrounding Energy Law and has provided numerous legal opinions on Renewable Sources of Energy in Kenya and neighboring countries.

Currently, Kibibi heads the Kenyan Chapter of the African Energy Services Group, a multinational company based in Rwanda. She is also a Partner at M. M. Gitonga Advocates LLP, a member of the Council at Kirinyaga University, and a Consortium partner in the H2020 EU-AU Joint Europe and Africa program – Long-term Europe and Africa Program in Renewable Energy.

Prior to her current roles, she gained valuable experience working at several leading law firms and multinational corporations in Kenya. Kibibi is a recent recipient of the ‘Africa Future Leadership Award’ and is fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
